Research Questions

 

Research Questions: 


1.  When is an acceptable age for independent technology to be introduced to developing children?

2.  How do think other lifestyles in varying countries differ from our own, and how does this affect people's mental health?

3.  How does experiencing other cultures impact our growth? 


Reflection:

I asked some of my friends and family these questions and they had many varying answers. For the first one my parents said that they gave my siblings and I phones when they thought it was important. They said we often got home before them when I was around 11 and therefore we needed a phone to be able to communicate. However, when I talked to my aunt she said she didn't want to get my cousin a phone, who is 7, until much later in his life. She is scared about the impacts of technology on their attention span. The second question I asked one of my friends who is an international student and she said that other countries in Europe have a much better work life balance. She said the owners of the businesses seem to care more about you as a person. The last question I asked some friends and they said that they think it encourages us to feel more empathy for other areas of the world and really it can help you learn new things about yourself that you otherwise would have been unable to discover.

 What I Eat In a Day  By: Adriana Stoltman Pigs in a Blanket  My Friends and I made hot dogs rolled in croissants for dinner on Tuesday night! Hazan Coffee and Pastries I went with my friends in the morning to grab some coffee and a sweet treat. McDonalds Chicken Nuggets I had Chicken nuggets with honey for lunch. Crackers and Meat  Before dinner I had a platter of meat and crackers as a snack.   "Fill Your Plate And We'll Tell You What Your Job Would Have Been In The Medieval Times" While taking this quiz I got a knight! I picked food such as potato wedges, edamame, chicken, corn on the cob, salmon, and a milkshake. I had some of my other friends take it and when they only chose the healthy options such as salads or not eating anything at all they got princess. I think this is quite a crazy way to categorize them through saying that you are more likely to be a princess if you eat less. My other friend picked the most unhealthy options like pop, chocolate cake, and fried food and they got leader! I guess this might correlate to being a wealthy leader and being able to afford a lot of unhealthy food. I also was able to look at some of the 62 comments.
